ABOUT US

Being the original girl who walked everyone else's dog and was never allowed to have her own, I didn't hesitate to get a dog as soon as I possibly could. I didn't mind which breed we had so my Husband chose a springer spaniel as he likes gundogs. We live in a little town in Northamptonshire with our two girls, who are just as crazy about dogs as I am, and our three dogs, Tipsy, Sunnie and Skye. They are not just animals to us they are part of our family and we would be lost without them. Therefore I have created this web-site to tell the world how wonderful they are and about the huge amount of pleasure they give us. Visit them on their own pages listed on the left hand side Menu.

I am into anything to do with dogs and have tried three of the most common disciplines; agility, flyball and breed showing. In 2006 I decided I wanted to fulfil a lifetime's dream and ambition and breed my own litter of puppies. Not an easy task when I was determined to do everything right (as it should be). Read all about our first litter of pups and the night they were born. In February 2008 Bordertrix was granted Accredited Breeder Status.

I am proud of how far we've come in such a short time. We are usually placed in Championship Shows and in Open for breed showing. Sunnie gets clears in her agility and Skye is starting to get rosettes with numbers on. See below about our dogs;

About Tipsy

Read all about our crazy springer spaniel who kept us on our toes. Included in her tribute is a page dedicated to our first ever agility show - a must read for anyone needing a laugh - at my expense!! Tipsy died during December 2009 but will be forever in our hearts as the legacy that taught us all so much.

About Sunnie

Find out how Sunnie stole my heart and made me a border collie fanatic! Faithful and ever at my side, included on her page is a link to the night she gave birth to Skye and her siblings. A fantastic mother and family companion, she is definitely my dog and this is my tribute to her and her unfailing loyalty. Leader of the pack she is devoted to Skye and I love to watch them play together.

About Skye

Well what can I say about our little guardian? Skye is everything I ever wanted in a dog - almost a personality cross between Tipsy and Sunnie - she is confident, athletic, game-for-anything, affectionate, loyal and very protective of anyone she considers to be family. Being the smallest in the litter has had a determined effect on our little 'Skyebox'. Skye has been mated to Bekkis Virtuoso, see our Planned Litters Page or her own page for more information.
